You will be enthusiastic and highly capable researchers who are keen to engage with this exciting new area of science. Candidates will be considered who have a range of different backgrounds and skills - e.g. in molecular biology, cell biology, systems biology or computational modelling.

Abstract:

You will join the laboratory of Professor John McCarthy to work on the role of noise in eukaryotic gene expression. Both postdoctoral positions will be involved in all aspects of this research project, and thus there are excellent opportunities for training in novel experimental methods and strategies. However, it is envisaged that one of the postdocs will focus more on the computational modelling than the other.

Description:

£27,319 - £35,646 per annum (Appointments are usually made on the first point of the salary range)
Fixed term contract for up to 4 year
