Candidates should have a competitive GPA and are expected to successfully apply for research awards. Previous laboratory and molecular biology experience is ideal, but experience with C. elegans is not necessary. Abstract:
The Parker laboratory at the Universite de Montreal, Canada welcomes applications from motivated PhD candidates. Successful candidates will make use of the model organism C. elegans to investigate neuroprotection in worm and cell models of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. We are part of the Centre Hospitalier de l’Universite de Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Montreal is one of Canada’s most vibrant cities and has a strong research community, especially in the neurosciences.
