Requirements:
■Master’s degree in engineering sciences (civil engineer) preferably in the area of electronics, control or automatisation;
■experience with the set-up of logical schemes and detailed P&ID is essential;
■strong technical background in engineering and practical knowledge of codes, standards, and legislation applicable for nuclear installations is highly desirable;
■experience in nuclear instrumentation and control systems is desirable;
■hands-on experience in the design of complex safety systems and SIL integration is an asset;
■good knowledge of general office software applications;
■fluency in English, be prepared to follow basic courses in Dutch and French.
Contract until 2014-12-31.
Abstract:
In the frame of the MYRRHA project we are looking for a temporary project engineer (m/f) for the Advanced Nuclear Systems institute, expert group Advanced Reactor Instrumentation: As an instrumentation and control system engineer to provide support for the design of reactor instrumentation, reactor control and safety systems of the MYRRHA reactor
Description:
■develop the conceptual design of reactor control and safety systems in agreement with the legal provisions, design codes and standards applicable to nuclear test reactors;
■draw up technical specifications for critical nuclear measurement and control systems and to perform the necessary feasibility studies;
■draw up process diagrams, logical schemes and detailed Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for the complete reactor-instrumentation, control and safety systems;
■perform the work in close collaboration with safety and design engineers of the various expertise groups inside SCK•CEN as well as with national or international partners
